MARINOMAZA is the Madrid atelier of Andrés Mariño Maza. He designs and makes pieces in steam-bent solid wood, by hand and to order in his own workshop: the Marino Rocker and the Nina & Beni and Sapiens chairs in annual numbered editions, and the Barlovento stool as a unique piece. The atelier also creates furniture for public interiors. For the Centre Pompidou’s public library (BPI) in Paris, Andrés was lead furniture project architect for its new home in the Lumière building, after an earlier project at Beaubourg.

Commissions
Each piece is made by hand, to order, in the Madrid workshop. The chairs are made in annual numbered editions, each piece stamped with the MARINOMAZA stamp and its number and year (for example 5/10, 2017): around ten Marino Rockers and about fifteen Nina & Beni chairs a year. The Barlovento stool is a unique piece. For these two pieces the current waiting time is nine months or more. Selected pieces are available immediately through Rossana Orlandi, Milan. The studio also designs furniture for public and private interiors.
